Hiya, we’re back! Did you miss us? We ran out the door and decided to sit out the month of March. But, “Mr. Robin,” you say, “you ran out the door in mid-February.” Yeah, yeah…and you have a giant zit on your shoulder that you should pay such close attention to! Now that we’ve settled that, on with the show this is it. March always seems to be a bad month for me. Everything seems to pile up in March, I don’t know why. I don’t ask for it. It just happens. Fortunately, it’s behind us now (at least for another 11 months). During my hiatus from CCB, so much great material has slipped through my fingers. There was the allegedly seemingly pedophilic leaning Oklahoma legislator found with an underage prostitute (allegedly). Then The Trump caused quite a stir when his thumbs got to working the Twitter account…that mess is still unfolding like a corpse flower emitting its putrid fragrance. And, while we’re on the subject of The Trump, didn’t politicians learn anything from that moron Gary Hart back in the 80’s? You DO NOT challenge the media to find something on you (trust me, they will) – further, don’t insult the New York Times. It’ll bite you in the ass. Keep in mind I’m the one, the only guy in the world who ever told the intelligence reporter from the NYT to go f*&% himself (mid-90’s) and lived to tell the tale. Truly, my proudest moment. On a more positive note, I submitted a short film screenplay to the Twister Alley Film Festival and was selected as a finalist. While I didn’t make the final cut, truth be told I probably got further along than I deserved. TAFF is a big deal for Cosmic City. If you’re local, I hope you’ll buy a ticket and attend the festival. This is a great thing for this city. I’ll be uploading the screenplay to robinhohweiler.com in the very near future for those with an interest in reading it. Finally, I am announcing that there are changes coming to CCB. Beyond the usual daily nonsense of recounting my (mis)adventures with Cousin Fred and CCB’s altogether vicious analysis of the current state of humanity, we will soon be offering video and sound file content. That is all (for now)! Comments are closed.
