 What in the hell is going on in Washington? Can someone please explain to me what this fool we elected king thinks he’s doing?
On top of everything else, the First Lady is missing. I’m beginning to think she’s stuffed under the couch in the Blue Room. We haven’t seen her for…what…three weeks now. She had a medical procedure, was in the hospital for a week and then POOF she’s gone. A tweet was sent forth from her account the other day, but it sounded suspiciously like The Trump composed and sent it himself. Melania’s deputy in the White House keeps coming forward and issuing statements denying one rumor or another. Today, Ms. Deputy announced that Melania would not be accompanying The Trump to Camp David this weekend…hmmmm. No one (but me) has suggested that Mrs. Trump might be stuffed under the couch in the Blue Room, but maybe someone should look. Just sayin’. For Pete's sake, someone check! Or, maybe, just maybe, she’s left his orange ass and run off to New York. She’s had enough of porn stars, urine dossiers, and whatever other crap people are turning up on him. It’s possible. And maybe, just maybe to save face, The Trump tried tweeting from her phone that she left behind in D.C., but then realized that it sounds like him, so he stopped doing that. How’s that for a conspiracy theory? And then, His Highness, laying heavy tariffs on essentially the world is his plan for making America great again? Uh huh. He’s started a (trade) war that will have repercussions on the people he thinks he’s making great. Idiot. My IRA has taken a nose-dive thanks to his (purposely?) manipulating the markets with one tweet or another. Thanks…thanks a lot. I’m sure his family gets richer every time the market nose-dives (e.g., futures trading). Now that the heat is beginning to hit close to home, he appears to be trying a diversionary tactic today by breaking protocol and releasing (himself in another f**king tweet) jobs data for the past quarter. The numbers actually look good and will probably distract people from the other dumb sh*t he and his ruthless gang of thugs are doing. He initially surrounded himself with a lot of smart people, but now has shown a track record for firing them at the first sign they disagree with him on anything. Rex Tillerson was an adult voice in a gang of toddlers running the day care center. You dumped him for that yes-man Pompeo who may or may not actually get The Trump a summit with that feckless dictator Kim, whom he is on record as calling an “honorable guy.” Really? Says a lot about The Trump, me thinks. But, I guess we’re stuck with him for at least another couple of years. In the meantime, America is going to hell in a hurry. We’re burdened by a do-nothing Congress who is more interested in firing partisan shots at one another than they are in getting anything substantive done. It’s the Oklahoma Legislature times ten! But then again, if the Congress can’t get anything done maybe it’ll somehow slow the train to hell that The Trump has put all of us on. Nah, I doubt it. Okay, enough for the Friday afternoon rants.
